Cyndie Allemann (born on April 4, 1986, in Moutier) is a Swiss female racing driver.

Second child of a family very interested in karting - her father was a well known driver - Cyndie stepped in motor sports at the age of 8. As a young girl, she also practice gymnastic, «it was interesting, but I was not so good», and mini bike, «a little 50cc, I use to drive as a cross pilot.»

At the age of 16, she decided to take a chance and went to Italy as a professional kart driver. The time was not so amazing, she came back home and return to school. Since 2004, she is a professional pilot and a student in the commercial school of Bienne.

She must have a very strong character to live with success in a boy’s environment on the circuit, but does not forget to appreciate life pleasures. Under lining everything in orange, her favourite colour.

Not very happy with a professional statue in an Italian karting team, she decided to jump in the car racing. First in a Formula Renault, then in a Formula 3.

After beginning her career in karting, she moved to cars in 2004 in Formule Renault 2.0 Suisse and finished 6th. The next year she moved to the more highly regarded German championship for the same cars and finished 12th. In 2006 she moved up to the Formel 3 Cup, finishing in 9th place and winning the pole position at EuroSpeedway Lausitz. The following year she drove in the Formula Three Euroseries and despite participating in all 20 races, failed to score points and was not classified in the season standings.

Last year, Cyndie drove in the F3 German championship. Today she is one of the Mercedes junior pilot and fight in the difficult F3 Euroseries, in a car prepared by the British team Manor.

In 2008, Cyndie Allemann signed to race in Firestone Indy Lights Series for American Spirit Racing.
