Amanda Lassu - Winner of the 2004 BWRDC Kart Championship for the second year running
Amanda had 7 individual wins and was 4th overall in the NKRA Championship. In her first season in the Rotax Minimax Class, she had 8 podium finishes from 11 races and won the Lincolnshire Kart Racing Club Rotax Minimax Championship and the South Yorkshire Kart Racing Club Championship.

My name is Amanda Lassu, I am 14 and from Barnsely, and I race karts!

My previous acheivments are:

Honda cadet SYKC winter series winner first year in karting

13th in super 2 championship 2003, and highest placed female driver

7th in minimax stars of tommorow national championship 2005, first year of national kart racing

Fastest lap award for Stars Of Tommorow at Larkhall

2nd at the MBKC Gold Cup 2005 British Womens Kartsport

trophy winner 2003, 2004, 2005

Winner of the BWRDC Embassy Trophy 2005

Currently lying 7th in Super 1 national junior champinship 2006,

highest placed female on a grid of 46 drivers

Currently leading the Vega Rookie Challenge 2006, with first place

Winning a Gold medal and racewear along with a 3 day trip for two people to Milan, and to the Vega factory

Currently in the top 10 in 2006 Stars of Tommorow championship

5th place round 2 Super 1, Warden Law

2nd place Stars Of Tommorow Silverstone Driver of the day Silverstone Stars Of Tommorow 2006

I drive a Rotax Junior Max UK, and use a Tonykart chassis, driving Strawberry racing, the UK Tonykart importer and works Tonykart team.
