Racin' for a Livin'


Dana Moore has been selected as one of fifty race car driver's (including 10 other women) for an upcoming racing reality TV show - Racin' for a Livin'. The competition starts with fans voting online to select the top 12 drivers. Only these 12 drivers, selected solely by fan voting, progress to the TV show. Then they compete in race cars, on different courses, judged by top drivers, crew chiefs and broadcasters. Dana Moore, an El Cajones: (CA) native, has been on a racing hiatus for a few years after recovering from a neck injury. She returned to the race car late in 2005 for Hickory Motor Speedway’s annual highlight event, “The Fall Brawl” finishing 15th in her first ever stock car race.

Other accomplishments include “Rookie of the Year” in the former WGGT Series owned by the American Le Mans. And she holds various track records at Sebring, Road Atlanta and the record for the best ever finish by a female driver at the well known circle track, Irwindale Speedway in California.

Dana knows the importance of giving back to her community. She visits children's hospitals and makes several appearances each year to local schools where she talks to youth about the importance of safe driving and avoiding drugs and alcohol.

Dana has given interviews for TV, Radio, Magazines, Newspapers, and Web Sites. She has also appeared for several public events.

Dana is a graduate of Russel School of Racing, SCCA Super School, Derek Daly Driving Academy and Bobby Ore's Stunt Driving School
